Mediahuis has invested in Taskbase, a leading Swiss technology company specializing in AI for education. Taskbase has raised $3.9 million in a Series A funding round. This round was led by Mediahuis Ventures and Acrobator, with significant contributions from Bloomhaus Ventures and various returning investors. The investment will support Taskbase in expanding to other European markets.
With this new funding, Taskbase can further improve its products and grow its presence in European markets. The company specializes in AI tools that provide personalized feedback and help create exercises for educational purposes. Taskbase has already made a significant impact on the education sector by collaborating with well-known publishers such as Cornelsen and Klett. Their best-known product, Lernnavi, is a popular learning app used by approximately 25,000 students in Swiss Gymnasiums, developed for Kanton St. Gallen. Additionally, Taskbase has completed an initial evaluation with VBV/AFA to streamline the process of grading open exams, making it faster and more consistent.
Mediahuis Ventures, known for its investments in transformative educational technologies, has great confidence in Taskbase’s potential. “Taskbase has demonstrated impressive innovation and solid performance in the edtech sector. We look forward to supporting their global growth,” commented Cedric Cops, Head of Mediahuis Ventures.
Taskbase remains committed to improving education through technology. As the company grows, it will continue to strive to provide tools that support teachers and enhance learning for students worldwide.
